You are welcome to Kyrkans Fjällgård Jäkkvik – close to heaven!
Kyrkans Fjällgård is run by a foundation within the Church of Sweden and profiles itself primarily as a campsite for church activities, but also receives other guests if space allows.
In summertime, Kyrkans Fjällgård also functions as a hostel and campsite for tourists and hikers.
The house is located at the foot of the mountain Pieljekaise, and on the shores of Hornavan, Sweden’s deepest lake. Kungsleden passes close to the house and here you have good opportunities for an exciting mountain stay in a fantastic environment – close to heaven!
Our accommodations
At Kyrkans Fjällgård you can find different types of accomodations.
During the summer season, we can offer hostel and campsite for drop in-booking. We also have apartments with room for 4 to 8 people.

Staff are available for bookings and other questions by phone or email on non-holiday Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 12:00.
Late Winter / Early Spring
During this period, private individuals can book apartments and cabins. Bookings must be made well in advance of the planned arrival.

Spring
If you are interested in group bookings during this period, please contact Fjällgården well in advance. Limited booking options.

Early Summer
During the short period before the summer season begins, private individuals can book apartments and cabins. Bookings must be made well in advance of the planned arrival.
Staff are available for bookings and other questions by phone or email on non-holiday Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 12:00.
Summer
During the summer, the reception is open daily with the option of drop-in bookings for the hostel, apartments, or campsite. Accommodation can also be booked in advance.
Staff are available at the reception every day from 09:00 to 10:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00.

There is a nice ICA store in the village where you can buy groceries and other supplies for your trip.
